Not sure that we are going the extended viewing time today. I’ll be shooting video and photo for the first three periods but if we get the extra time I’ll be providing updates of that. If not, I’ll provide updates from the first periods as soon as it concludes. Either way should be rolling in here around 9:35

Rodney Garner is on fire this morning.. Kaemen Marley, Velus and Kamal Hadden currently working out on the sideline. Hadden looks solid for a corner

Bailey and Milton were the most consistent in QB drills. Bailey had one overthrow. Milton missed his first two that I saw. After that, both guys settled in.
All the talking heads keep equating Hooker with “consistency”. My untrained eyes have never seen that from him.

Couple of other notes. As players cycled through today, I was even more impressed with Byron Young. He looks like he has been chiseled out of a piece of granite. Physically, he reminds me of Azeez Ojulari. I saw him at a high school game last season before the SEC schedule started and just thought about how he looked like a problem. Young looks similar. Thought William Parker had trimmed down to a nice weight and Omari Thomas looks the part. We had Warren Burrell for availability, and he has added good weight. It appears to be an all out battle at corner and he is a major factor right now. Have covered him since his junior season in high school, and he doesn’t look like the young, wide-eyed kid who was a gnat in coverage but had room to grow into his frame anymore. He looks solid. Caleb Tremblay has added 25lbs since arriving on campus. He has the true veteran mentality. Always up near the front of the line and ready to go. Was impressed with him today. Nothing to suggest it happens anytime soon, but the more I see Miles Campbell and watch his game, I start to believe he will push for starting time by the end of the season. Drop any questions you might have

After watching the team for a few days, and understanding it's small samples, are you more or less optimistic for the season, or about the same?

How’s the linebacker corp looking?
Definitely more depth there. Have been impressed with the OLB group. Think Ekeler summed it up today, they are explosive. Haven’t had much of a chance to see Mitchell and Banks. They are at the far end of the second field working turnover circuit early on. Jake did note both guys looked solid yesterday. Jeremy looks to be at a really good weight and moving well.
