Fully believe we're going to shock a lot of folks this year. Media and opposing fanbases have left us for dead. But we ain't dead yet
If we knock off Florida, which we totally should because they’re trash, then we could get on a hot streak. Talk about lighting a fire under recruiting !!!7-5.. we lose to someone we shouldn't lose to, but knock off one of the big 3.. if we somehow beat Florida and start 4-0, look out!
I’ve been saying this for months, myself. You & I tend to think very much the same on a lot.Fully believe we're going to shock a lot of folks this year. Media and opposing fanbases have left us for dead. But we ain't dead yet
We don't have a lot of proven depth. But we've got legit talent in the starting 22. No one can tell me otherwise. Give us good QB play, and watch us surprise a lot of folksI’ve been saying this for months, myself. You & I tend to think very much the same on a lot.
What we have as an advantage is Heupel doesn’t go stale in his gameplanning. Every game is a fresh canvas, and that’s going to be steep learning curve for our opponents. If we knock off Florida, which we totally should because they’re trash, then we could get on a hot streak. This I agree with. His offense is setup to creat wrinkles to successful plays week over week. My thoughts on Josh Heupel are this. Folks would have been thrilled to have him as an OC last fall. But he’s the Head Coach now, and he clearly understands the importance of building his program the right way and not micromanaging his coaches. Two things that Jeremy Pruitt did not overachieve at. I don’t think Tennessee could have done better in the search with all of the outside noise created with the last staffs exit. I may be wrong, but I think Josh Heupel has high upside as a head coach. What we have as an advantage is Heupel doesn’t go stale in his gameplanning.
